The Rosh Hashana Table

When I start thinking of Rosh Hashana I think in terms of colors. For me the start of a New Year inspires hope and belief in a better tomorrow. The freshness of a green apple epitomizes this feeling for me. Translating this into an apple green tablecloth or a fresh pressed leaves runner, sets the mood. To complement the apple green, I introduce an array of equally vibrant and cheerful colors. Lavenders, fuschias, shades of blues and pinks all mix happily together on the table. Gold and crystal accents add just the touch of a little opulance in the hopes of an abundant year. Various textures such as satin napkins and crystal glassware build interest. Layering patterns such as a chinoiserie vase to showcase your floral centerpiece adds dimension. The soft flickering light of candles drips with ambience. A personalized placecard with a suitable qoute completes the Holiday table for me! Wishing all my bloggie followers a very Healthy and Happy New year!
